MAGNUM Concretes Pvt. Ltd. utilizes Fly-Ash as the prime raw material, an indispensable by-product of thermal power plants, which is an environmental threat across the Globe. Coal rich Orissa has seen an ever-increasing chain of thermal power plants that are facing an ever increasing challenge to dispose this polluting agent. MAGNUM Concretes Pvt. Ltd. has taken up the challenge to establish the first and only fully automated Fly Ash Bricks and Blocks Unit in the state of Orissa. Applying state-of-the-art technology, the company is committed to optimize costs to the benefit of its stakeholders, primarily the common man.

With a production capacity of one lakhs bricks per day, it aims to solve the problem of ever increasing building material prices to some extent by selling its bricks at a relatively lower price compared to the conventional red bricks. However, the company assures quality and strength of the Eco-Friendly bricks it produces.

Fly Ash Utilization is just the first eco-friendly aspect of the project. Secondly, it also helps the environment by saving the invaluable top soil by not using it for brick making like conventional brick making. Thirdly, this modern brick needs no burning, thus further enhancing the Eco-Friendly Brand. Due to the eco friendliness of the bricks, they are often referred to as Eco Bricks or popularly Green Bricks.

We are ready to take a random comparison test vis-a-vis any other fly ash bricks or clay bricks produced in this part of Orissa. Please walk in with a sample of the brick you are presently using, and do the strength testing of a randomly picked brick at our factory site. Our engineer will be happy to assist you in conducting the strength test with our in-house strength testing machine.

Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) & Carbon Credits:

MAGNUM Concretes Pvt. Ltd. has initiated steps to get enrolled into the CDM program to earn carbon credits, also technically known as Certified Emission Reductions (CERs), on the basis of its non-pollutant emission nature. It is estimated that, at present production capacity, the company will make around 14,000 carbon credits (CERs) per annum.


In this connection we have signed an Emission Reduction Purchase Agreement(ERPA) with Zeroemission, Spain, for executing the CDM project, and for Transfer & Sale of CERs that will be generated as a result thereof.

We have also partnered with Shandong Donguye Building Machines Co of China for sales, services and spares of the said Hi Capacity Building Blocks Machinery, Ready Mix Concrete plants (both stationary and mobile type) and other construction machinery.
