Mr. Mahapatra has been the Chairman of Magnum Group since its inception in 1984.
Mr. Mahapatra started his career in 1974 with IPICOL, (Industrial Promotion & Investment Corporation of Odisha), and moved onto become an entrepreneur in 1984. His entrepreneurial journey started with a humble beginning of a consultancy firm of Magnum. He has been recognized and awarded with the Best Small-Scale Industry Award in 1987 from Hon'ble Chief Minister of Odisha; National Award for Outstanding Entrepreneurship in 1989, Best Entrepreneurship in 1992 from Orissa State Finance Corporation and National Award for Best Medium Scale Industry in India from Hon'ble Prime Minister of India.
Mr. Mahapatra is a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering and holds a Diploma in Development Banking from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, India. He had also been a Rotary Exchange Fellow in the United States of America since 1976.
He has served as President of the Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industries (UCCI) from 2010 onwards for ten consecutive years bringing in some remarkable contributions. Dr. Padhi has done her MSc. in Chemistry and holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Chemistry from Utkal University, Odisha. The Board of Directors is accountable for the strategy and organization of Magnum Group of Companies and the management of Magnum’s operations. The Board appoints the Group Managing Director (CEO) and Unit Level Directors (Head of Business Unit) who are responsible for managing the day-to-day operations in accordance with guidelines from the Board.
Group Managing Director ensures that the Board is updated regularly on issues of importance to Magnum. This includes updates on business development, results, financial position and liquidity

The task of these Committees is mainly to prepare matters for resolution by the Board. However, the Board has authorized each Committee to determine certain issues in limited areas. It may also on occasion provide extended authorization for the Committees to determine and handle certain specific matters.
If deemed appropriate, the Board of Directors and each Committee have the right to engage independent external expertise, either in general or with respect to specific matters.
Prior to the Board meetings, each Committee submits the minutes from Committee meetings to the Board. The Chairman of the Committee also reports on the Committee work at each Board meeting.

Mr. A. P. Malla is the Director & COO (Fibres & Polymers) at Magnum Group India. In his current capacity, he manages the end to end business operations of our product portfolio spanning Polymers, Nylon, Fibres, and its forward integrated products. He is the owner of Production, Sales, and Operations covering 4 manufacturing factories. He has turned around the business from being a mere Polymer twine manufacturer to one of Magnum’s most profitable SBUs through Process Innovation and Working Capital Management.
Mr. Malla holds a Masters Degree in Economics and also a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) with comprehensive experience in the field of plastic & allied products.

Mr. B. B. Mishra has 25 years of experience in conceptualizing, planning, and driving execution of multiple Magnum ventures.
Mr. Mishra started his career with Magnum in the project engineer area and gradually took the responsibility of managing Magnum’s Aquaculture project at Balasore. He has been instrumental in establishing and expanding the Seafood vertical of Magnum. Mr. Mishra is also responsible for diversifying the Seafood export activities, leading Magnum Seafood to become one of eastern India's largest seafood export houses.
Apart from expanding the seafood export business, Mr. Mishra has also pioneered the set-up of Magnum Dream Homes, our Real-Estate business.
Mr. Mishra is an Electrical engineer with expertise in driving large complex industrial projects and wing-to-wing operations of international exports.
He is a musicophile and passionately promotes arts and culture through various forums and loves golfing.

Mr. Ashok Mahapatra has 25 years of diverse leadership experience across the United States of America and India. After serving in senior leadership positions in Fortune 500 companies in the USA & UK for about 18 years, Mr. Mahapatra relocated to India.
Mr. Mahapatra is responsible for the incubation and growth of Magnum Dream Homes (Real Estate) and Magnum Matrixes (Academia) within Magnum Group.

Sameer Ali is the Director and Chief Operating Officer for the Magnum Group. He is a strategic and transformational leader with more than 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry and project management including 7 years in international hotel chains in USA, UAE and India.
Ali is an outgoing, dynamic and sales focused, result oriented professional with a relentless drive.
Sameer holds a MBA Degree in Marketing from the University of Scranton, Pennsylvania-USA. He has been awarded the Top 20 under 40 business professionals honor by the North East Business Journal of Pennsylvania (USA) and was awarded the honor of Advocate for Scranton Tomorrow in USA.

General Manager
Mr. Mohanty joined Magnum Group in 1995 with the aquaculture venture. During his career, he had the opportunity to lead multiple product portfolios of Magnum Seafood in India & handle independent P&L responsibilities across India.
He is presently the Chief Procurement Officer for the procurement of Seafood, the Head of Sales for Feed and Hatchery Products of Magnum Seafood.
As the General Manager, he is a member of the Executive Committee of Seafood and responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability for the organisation.
Mr. Mohanty has a Bachelor’s in Commerce. He holds immense knowledge of Seafood that he has gained over 25 years while representing Magnum Seafood in National and International Conferences as Speaker and attendee across India, South East Asia, Europe, and North America.
General Manager
Mr. Ray brings with him 15 years of experience from large export houses. He joined Magnum Seafood in 2005 with the Sales & Exports division.
Presently, Mr. Ray is the Chief Sales & Export Officer of Magnum Seafood Portfolio, Head of Marketing & Sales for its SBU’s Magnum Estate Pvt Ltd. And Magnum Seafood Limited. He is also an Executive Committee member and responsible for P&L of the Organization.
He is responsible for international business of the seafood division. Mr. Ray is a seasoned General Manager and has been representing Magnum across the World and has been instrumental in spreading Magnum footprints in South East Asia, Japan, the USA, Canada, and China.
He is a great mentor for his team; he keeps a check on the operational aspect and continuously works towards 100% quality assurance to the customers.
Director Magnum Estate
Mr. Sethi holds a postgraduate degree in Marine Biology with extensive experience in the management of aquaculture and quality management. He has undergone various technical training and certifications sponsored by Magnum over the years.
Mr. Sethi joined Magnum in the year 1995 and is an expert in Vannamei prawns and Black Tiger Aquaculture. He has successfully carried out the aquaculture activities for the last 25 years and is presently the Head of Seafood Aquaculture, Pre-processing operations across Balasore, Odisha.
He is a people leader and a loyalist of the highest order and is a combination of an enthusiastic dramatist with an excellent sense of humor. His ambivert nature makes him one of the favourite leaders of the Magnum Group.
Deputy General Manager
With the wealth of wisdom accumulated over 25 years, Mr. Acharya is presently the DGM, Sales & Marketing for HDPE Pipes, HDPE & Nylon nets and HDPE Twines & Ropes divisions of Magnum Group. He leads a highly motivated team of professionals to generate consistent growth and expansion into newer domains and territories.
Being part of the Magnum family since 1999, Mr. Acharya has been instrumental in shaping various divisions of Magnum. From manufacturing to sales, Mr. Acharyas’ strong operational management skills and his insightful, strategic planning has laid the foundation for a stable and innovative future for Magnum Group. It has been his endeavour to bring foresight and a measure of caution, in our activities in sales and marketing, which has allowed Magnum Group to consistently deliver on our promises and quality benchmarks, while achieving world-class standards in timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Mr. Ranjit Lenka has over 15 years of experience in Seafood Industry. He deals with overseas importers of seafoods based in USA and EU countries, Mid East countries. He has excellent relations with international customers.
Ranjit has done BCom and holds a degree in Import and Export Management from IIEM Bangalore. He has completed several aquaculture management trainings and participated in Seafood Expos held abroad. He is keen learner and always in curious to learn new things and explore. Ranjit likes to travelling & watching movies in free time.
Senior HR Manager
Mr. Ajayananda, has been part of the corporate juggernaut for over 8 years, working through talent acquisition, payroll management, employee grievance management and such HR functions.
His journey with Magnum Group began in April 2021. As the Sr. Human Resources Manager he is responsible for the overall conduct and policies which govern all the Magnum staff. That everyone is treated with respect and positivity has become his primary objective. Whether it is a new joining, a fellow colleague who’s worked for his whole corporate life with Magnum, or someone who has decided to move on to fresher pastures, each is given a dignified and clear set of roles and processes to follow. Mr. Ajayananda has ensured that grievances have been given due resolutions. To ensure proper functioning of support systems, Mr. Ajayananda also looks at formation of various committees such as Canteen committee, women committee, grievance committee, internal and safety committees. He also ensures that our licenses and audit/inspections of factories are registered and done on time.
Above than anything else though, he cares for Magnum's employees. Ajay along with his team do everything they can to make our employees feel safe, comfortable and excited enough to push their boundaries.

IT Manager
Mr. Sar has 17 years of professional experience as a System Engineer in various environments and Platforms. He has been associated with MAGNUM Telesoft Pvt. Ltd. right from its inception and has guided the unit to a stable position over the years. He has looking after our office all IT networking related issues.
Being a Diploma in ETC & Telecom, and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)and also CCNA , he is quick learner with a flexible and adaptable attitude. An excellent team player, his skill set in system administrations, and technical support enables him to carry out multiple tasks.
Additional General Manager (Operations)
Holding a Master’s degree in Zoology, Mr. Satpathy has a vast experience of over 22 years, in Fish and Fishery product quality assurance & production. This includes worker management, material management production planning etc. He is solely handling the statutory and regulatory requirement of Govt. of India with respect to establishment standards and specification as well as that of importing countries. He is equipped with various training experience like HACCP, ISO:22000 in auditor, lead auditor and train-the-trainers categories to establish a high profile food safety management system in the establishment over the years.
Mr. Satpathy joined Magnum in 2008 and is an expert in establishment & implementation of food safety management system, to produce a safe and healthy product for consumer. He has successfully completed all certifications of Magnum Sea Foods Limited like HACCP, BRC, ISO:22000 (2018), BAP, BSCI etc. He is the HACCP team leader and suitably continued these certifications since last 12 years.
He is a people leader and a loyalist of the highest order and is a combination of an enthusiastic and responsible personality with respect to establishment of food safety management system and out coming of an healthy and safe product for the end consumers. Mr. Swain holds a Bachelors degree in chemistry & Biology. He has been working with magnum since 2009. He is looking after prodution department. He has twenty years of Experience in production of Raw, cooked & Blanched products. Mr. Swain has undergone various training programme associated with production & quality. Senior Manager Export – Magnum Seafoods Ltd
Sanjay Lenka has rich experience of over 15 years in the Seafood Industry. In Magnum Seafoods he started as Export Executive and over the years has moved up as a planner and distributor of various B2C products, services & currently serving as the Senior Manager Exports for Magnum Seafood Limited.
He is responsible for the communications between the company and domestic sellers & foreign clients.
Mr Lenka is a post graduate from Utkal University Orissa and has completed Export-Import Management in MSME, Government of India.
One of his major milestones includes successfully completing the USA Anti dumping audit.

During his remarkable 28-year tenure at Nekkanti Sea Foods Ltd., he refined his abilities in strategic leadership, operational excellence, and international business.
Satyanarayana is a gold medallist in BSc Fisheries and has completed his MBA from Andhra University. He has also undergone several industry and quality management trainings.
Executive Director – Operations
With over 23 years of expertise, Mr. Yashwant Kumar is well-versed in the sea food industry. He is proficient in Business Operations - production, quality control, international marketing as well as administrative duties. In addition to holding numerous certifications, including BRC, IFS, FSSC 22000, ASC/MSC (Plant & Farms), BAP (Plant & Farms), HACCP, SEDEX, FSSAI, Organic certificates, HALAL, GOI, and others, he has created systems in several marine food companies.
He started his career with Bell Foods, worked with Liberty Group of Companies, West Coast Group and IFB Agro Industries. His business and industry knowledge has held him in excellent state throughout his career.
Yashwant has an MBA with a focus in marketing, an MSC in TQM, and a bachelor's degree in fishing. Additionally, he has completed multiple industrial and quality management trainings. He is enthusiastic in learning new things and loves to read journals and watch cricket.
Research & Development
Mrityunjay Sahu has bachelor's degree in civil engineering from NIT Rourkela in 2009. After which, he has pursued his PhD from University of Sydney and University of Canterbury in waterbodies remediation by using non-linear control systems. He was research associate for a short period at the California Institute of Technology in the department of control and dynamic systems. He has expertise in complex control system development for natural resource management, photonics, artificial intelligence, water and aquaculture chemistry. He has collaborations with research organizations such as CSIRO, Australia, Research Productivity Council, Canada, ICAR-CIBA, India, Indian Oil R&D. He has raised grants and investments from 9 ministries from government of India for development of intelligent systems for solving crucial issues related to aquafarming, waste water treatment and natural waterbodies management. So far, more than 30 patents national and international patents are his key contributions. He is currently involved in development of systems for indoor and outdoor crustacean farming by using robotics, AI/ML, Blockchain and deep understanding of biological and environmental issues.
Research & Development
Mr. Geet Amrit holds a dual degree (B.Tech and M.Tech) in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering (2010-2015) from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela where he received the Director’s Merit Award for being among the top three rank holders of the department and the National Fellowship from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. His research interests in the field of heat transfer, thermodynamics and fluid dynamics enabled him to work as a Research scholar at the esteemed Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai where his areas of research were analysis of thermal stratifications and structural integrity of pressurised pipelines of nuclear reactors.
After graduating with Honours from NIT Rourkela, he received his Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (2015-2017) from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. While pursuing his management degree at IIM Bangalore, he was selected for the Global Social Entrepreneurship Project, a collaborative research initiative between IIM Bangalore and Yale School of Management, USA and a Policy Research Scholar for the ‘Mission Antyodaya’ research initiative of the Government of India. Dr. Shailesh Kumar Samal has a double doctorate, a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from Karolinska Institutet, Sweden, and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Maastricht University, Netherlands. He is the elected fullmember of Sigma Xi The most prestigious scientific research honor society of the world in 2024. He is also part of an international program called INTRICARE - Marie Skłodowska-Curie project by the European Union. His Ph.D. work was on Immune Mechanisms and Potential Immunological Treatment in Atherosclerosis. He is one of the India’s youngest Adjunct faculty/professor at Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar, India. He has received 3 prestigious international fellowships to study in the USA, Portugal, and Sweden. He has also worked with Prof. Oliver Smithies (Nobel laureate for Medicine-2007) at the University of North Carolina, Chapel-Hill, USA, and got another scholarship at Universidade Do Porto, Portugal, for 10 months under the Erasmus Mundus Euphrates scholarship program. Dr. Shailesh is a serial entrepreneur and co-founded many companies, such as Inflanova AB, Val- Infla, and Nordia Fresh AS, and took the lead on the scientific activities at Elemntoz Research and Valnizen Healthcare as a chief scientific officer. He is the CEO of Inflanova AB in Sweden. He got the Young Scientist title at the Lindau Nobel Laureates Meeting 2018, Germany. His active research is on specific natural antibodies against a small lipid epitope.
